"And he did not flinch, Fred. He could take it. He picked up my hand, and held it between his warm hands. And sat there with me, holding my hand and my hurt. I could feel the sympathy transfusing, and I was thirsty for it. I hadn't realized how much I needed to let someone in." — 15 de Abr 01:33

Win a copy of The 5th Wave on the blog! If you could buy just one book this year, this one should be at the top of your list. I'm just going to say it: this book could very well be the next The Hunger Games! I've never seen a book more likely to be a...more |

"Maybe I just love some of you. Maybe not enough."
Tiger Lily blinked at him, and she didn't understand how anyone could only love a part. Her greedy heart didn't work that way.”

“You know that feeling,” she said, “when you are reading a book, and you know that it is going to be a tragedy; you can feel the cold and darkness coming, see the net drawing tight around the characters who live and breathe on the pages. But you are tied to the story as if being dragged behind a carriage and you cannot let go or turn the course aside.” His blue eyes were dark with understanding — of course Will would understand.”
