Very entertaining story of several inter-related generations in a small town based on Cooperstown, NY. Fun plot twists and unexpected zig-zags... if I had anything negative to say, it was that there were some characters I wanted to hear more from. And I was a bit disappointed in our heroine's big bombshell... not at the end when she finally sorts out the family tree, but before that. ]]>

This was the perfect beside-table book for me... I confess, I sometimes read cookbooks when I'm going to bed, and this narrative combined with recipes and self-deprecating humor kept me up reading later than I wanted some evenings! I even copied some of the recipes to try. Loved the author's style... I was rooting for her the whole way. ]]>
