I absolutely loved the film, and this is a marked improvement. The monologues from Sheriff Bell are worth it in themselves.

An amazing story very well told. Curiously, the sections on Nantucket were the best; I'd also happily have read a slightly longer treatment on sperm whales themselves, but I'm nit-picking.
