I don't know what it is about this story but I loved it. I couldn't put it down.
It is definitely one that I will read again. One that could be read alone without having dipped into the other in the Dark Tower series.

I was disappointed in this book. Not that it was bad, but it was far from exciting. Was no where close to a page turner. None of the characters (good or bad) deserved the least bit of sympathy.
