          <body><![CDATA[A great classic and certainly better than I expected. About half-way through the plot really picks up and it actually get quite interesting. I didn't mind the Vesuvius bit, but that coupled with the parachute drop into the jungle just seemed to be a bit overkill at times. And if Livia was so independent and loved him so much, and also loved food so much, why was she so wiling to give up her independence and follow the Communist group blindly? Not to be nit-picky, but it just seemed like perhaps the writer shouldn't have pushed the historical bits as he did and instead kept with the parts that were wonderful.
