Half the fun of this book, which was really silly and funny, is being able to listen to my (almost) 7-year-old read it out loud to me. Here's the thing. There's a lot about this book to be annoyed with -- the author's sometimes awkward use of the English language (which I think is probably due to her bilingual) and the main character's relationship with her husband.
But the underlying, real, story is so compelling. The story of the children being shipped off to the camps, and separated from their parents. The main character's struggle to come to terms with these things, and to never forget.

Eh. I really enjoyed Angels and Demons and The DaVinci Code, but this one was really hard for me to get through in parts.
There's no denying Brown does a lot of research, and I found all the Mason history interesting. But the suspense part of the story was the same as the other two -- very formulaic.
