Book club selection. I loved the Southern setting, of course, but also liked the journey Calpurnia took to self-discovery. This book made me review my life and the turning points I had in my own journey. Highly recommended for young girls.

Book club selection. I liked how the stories came together to form a complete picture at the end. I recommended it to my son and he enjoyed it too.

Another book club selection. This one I loved! I appreciated the exploration of being an outsider in your own family. Great storytelling.
