God is so much bigger than traditional religious views would have us believe. How can we put limits on a limitless God?
Furthermore, we have elevated the Bible to such a degree that we have missed the One who it was meant to connect us to. It's like getting flowers from a lover and getting so caught up in their fragrance and their beauty that we forget the one (our lover) who gave them to us. Indeed, read your Bible (enjoy the flowers), but don't forget the Lover who gave it to you--the One who longs to converse with you always, on an intimate level. The One who has words, special words just for you (the beloved)!
