Living in Northern California, you learn and hear a lot about the Donnor Part. I liked the book's perspective from the author's seach for herself. I would like to know why it took her 32 years to publish it. She writes quite a bit about her original novel concept but we never learn why she changed to the publised format. Minor detail.
