Still good, following right on the heels of the previous books.

Has a few twists and turns I didn't see coming, and an ending I didn't quite expect given the previous books.

Like the first collection of this series, it's plucking alot of my fan-boy strings; it references (in name and some story lines) the original Guardians, it rolls along right from the great Star Lord miniseries, it keeps that smart-ass feel I enjoy, and it hits some major high-adventure notes.

Still, not quite as great as it could be. I hope that the team has time to grow and refine things a bit. I have to admit, I am a big fan of Marvel's space books. Ever since Annihilation came out of nowhere and kicked off a new age of awesome cosmic adventure in the Marvel Universe (it made Nova into a serious, badass, character!) I've had my eye on all of these.

Admittedly the second event, Annihilation: Conquest, was more hit-or-miss (the "Dirty Dozen with smart-ass aliens" that was Star Lord on one hand, the confused messes of Quasar and Wraith on the other), but I still have alot of love in my heart for this corner of the setting.

Not quite as solid as the original mini-series, this collection of recent appearances of the Agents of Atlas is still full of ass-kicking high adventure comic stories.
