A good, solid, entertaining fun read.
The heroine (Lily Bard) is an interesting, yet believable character. She is a self-employed cleaning woman and finds herself needing to find out who the murderer is to keep herself from being a suspect.
The mystery has good turns, but is not so complicated that you don't have a hope of solving it on your own.

A fantastic story for this time of year.
Haunting, spooky, and a bit creepy even though the whole story seems entirely reasonable and believable.
Not as brilliant as Time Traveler's Wife (really, what could be?) but very, very good.
