An infuriating ending ruined this for me. I thought it would be a fun, escapist holiday read. I was okay with the clear lesson being hammered home about having your priorities straight and really appreciating your loved ones. And an element of magic was was welcome, but the ending needed that magic. ]]>
A wonderful book and a mystery that was fascinating (involving postage stamps!) The main character is a fabulous 11 year old girl who cannot be stopped in her pursuit of the solution to a crime. She may be stretching the limits of reality, but what a fun inspiration she is. ]]>
