I learned about a lot of folks I didn't know about, and Dittmer writes in an engaging, relatively accessible way about the tensions and successes with the Medical Committee for Human Rights. Of particular interest were his explorations of reformist vs. radical action, urban vs. rural, and "professional" vs. "community" struggles. I liked it. Totally recommended for anyone in health care.
