I loved this book... something about messages from beyond. I don't know... maybe it was the dog that did it for me. Plus, I always love a little mystery/suspense mixed in with a little romance. I had a hard time getting through this book. I decided to read it on a road trip from Utah to Indiana. My friend recommended it, as she thought it was a compelling story, based on real-life events. She was right in that it was compelling. And I know that you can't change facts. However, there were times I wanted to give up reading because I was tired of chapter after chapter of "following the river". I didn't realize that this book was a continuation of "True Believer". If I'd have known that a year ago when I finished the other, I probably would have read this one right away. Just finished the first three chapters...
