Interesting format ussing time lapses to early years as friendships were formed among the characters. As life progressed, years passed, and personal conflicts developed, I often felt uncomfortable, knowing that I shouldn't be observing them at the worst moments of their lives!
Characters and situations are true to life--so true that I found myself wanting to warn them about the events to come.
As the characters' lives were torn apart, the author was effective in pointing them in new directions providing inner peace and acceptance of the past.
Excellent character development..a book that welcomes your interst and concern for each of them. Readers who cherish a good read centering on character traits, character obsessions, and character flaws will enjoy this one.
