I love The Regulators (Bachman) and have read it a couple of times. I think it's funny in the introduction where (I think) King is talking about having made the book more current by having the little boy taunt his sister by saying she loves Ethan Hawke, as opposed to Rob Lowe. Now Ethan Hawke is outdated. I suppose nowadays it would be Rob Pattinson. ]]>

Yikes - this what I'm reading right now and your review makes me nervous! After I started reading / really getting into it, I saw that O&C came first, so I was hoping doing things out of order wouldn't interfere with my experience.
