about this author
Harrington's debut novel JANEOLOGY is the story of Tom Nelson, a man struggling after the death of his son at the hands of his wife Jane. While Jane sits in a Texas mental hospital for her part in the crime, prosecutors turn their focus to Tom. They believe Tom should have known Jane was on the cusp of a breakdown and protected his children from her illness. As a result, he is charged with “failure to protect.” Enter attorney, Dave Frontella, who employs a radical defense strategy – one that lays the blame at the feet of Jane’s nature and nurture. To gather evidence about Jane’s forbears, Frontella hires a woman with the power of retrocognition – the ability to use a person’s belongings to re-create their past. An unforgettabl...more |

hi karen! thanx 4 accepting my friend request. i'm brigid, and i'm fifteen. i love 2 read, and I also write a lot. i've only written one book so far, but haven't had any luck when it comes to publishing. i'm working on like four other novels write now. if u ever have advice for young writers, i'm here :)
I want to apologize for the all the recommendations from me yesterday. I wanted to share the Stoker Award news, and I only pressed the send button once--I'm not sure what happened to create so many messages. Some weird glitch.
Argh...this is terrible...
Again, I'm very sorry.

Here’s wishing you a nifty New Year filled with noiseless noses, neato nicknames, noble Nebraskans, gnarly narcoleptic nebulas, and novel novels about nut-eating narwhals and novercaphobic gnats.
-Jeremy :)
P.S.—I’m currently offering autographed/personally-inscribed copies of my novel, Vacation, with free shipping for those in the US. If there’s anything you could do to help me spread the word about this, I’d really appreciate it. Feel free to click here for details:

Hi Karen!
Here’s wishing you a yippee-filled Yuletime overflowing with yard-long yams, yapping yoyo-yanking yetis, yak-milk yeast-cakes, and yellow yarn-yielding year-end yard-gnomes.
-Jeremy :)
Hi Karen!
If you don't mind sharing--I was wondering, what's your favorite book of all time?
Here’s wishing you a weekend filled with wacky whims, wonderful weirdness, and well-disposed werecats.
-Jeremy :)
Thanks for being my friend, Karen. Seems like I have to find the Janeology. :) Keep on writing, ok !
Thanks for the friendship, Karen! Here’s wishing you a fantastic day filled with fabulous fates, fanciful festivities, and frolicking phantom footstools. :)
