I found this book very hard going. certain bits were fascinating but at times it needlessly dragged on, adding little value to the storyline. However....something captured me. I was fascinated by the main narrator and her lack of self-perception. I initially felt sorry for her, but by the end I felt she was just a manipulative bully, enjoying the decline of those around her.

I read Out earlier this year and feel that is a much stronger story.
