Excellent, excellent book for helping with a spirited child. The things that I have implemented from this book have been tremendously helpful in keeping my son in the "green zone" (calm), although I haven't been remembering to do the things as much as I should. It has helped me to see him in a new light too... I've realized that he's not so much just trying to urk me but rather, a lot of the time he can't help it... it's just how God wired him. Reading this I realized that I'm spirited too and never really learned the coping tools in this book as a child, so it has helped me to learn how to calm myself also. First I got the Eat-Clean magazine and loved it, then I saw there was a book. This is so great... I have always wanted our family to live this way but have never quite known how to do it. There are tons of fairly simple recipes in here that are making eating healthier a lot easier for our family. I made the macaroni and the sweet potato fries the other day for lunch.
