John Sakkis hails from Concord, CA (East Bay Area) and lives in the Lower Haight, San Francisco. Author of numerous chapbooks including the forthcoming post-bulletin (Taxt) and Gary Gygax (Cy Gist Press). With Angelos Sakkis he translates the work of Athenian poet/ multi-media artist Demosthenes Agrafiotis, their translation of Agrafiotis's Chinese Notebook forthcoming from Ugly Duckling Presse. Other chapbooks include Rude Girl (Duration Press), The Moveable Ones (Transmission Press), Coast (Dusie), An Anglo-Saxon History (Detumescence), he, don Juan, a translation (Detumescence) and in translation Siarita Kouka's Benthos (Silas Press).
