If a co-moderator is wanted/needed, I volunteer to co-moderate the Middlemarch discussion. I've never done this before and I haven't read the whole book; however, the Dorothea thread of this book caught my imagination since I first read the Prologue years ago, and the changes in medical practice, the burgeoning of science, that's a part of the Lydgate thread has sparked my definite interest since I started the book. So.

We could maybe keep the discussion on one thread but divide the book into reading sections with each new section coming in after a pre-agreed time. So during the first section's time, we post only on that section, no spoilers from farther in the book. At the beginning of the next section there could be a big notice saying Starting Week 2 (or whatever), and the posts would be from any part of the book to the end of that section. This would satisfy the moderators' space requirements and it would make it easy for those coming behind in the read to participate without spoilers.

I hope that this group does continue to do a book of the month(s); I just joined the group, expressly for book discussion.
