If you are looking for something much, much lighter, Elaine Viets writes the Dead-End Jobs mysteries. No prostitution or morticians- more like bridezilla salon sales, telemarketer, dogwalker, hotel maid etc. They're also on the cozy mystery list.

This may be splitting hairs, but the winners' task asks us to read a book from ONE of the winners' 5 star lists- would it be okay to check just one list for this task?
