Many Catholics (Christians) would find this book a refreshing read. The author writes in a style that is easy to read and he inspires his readers to think about their own life, specifically their own habits. I just finished this one- the first 50 pages didn't strike me well but I got into it and then couldn't put it down. It is a great historic fiction written from the viewpoint of "Death" (not devil) during WWI. It is set in Nazi Germany and the main character is a young German girl you loves WORDS.
