Maybe because we had just visited Dachau...or maybe because I teach the history of WWII....or maybe just because it is an incredible story- THIS BOOK IS FABULOUS! It is a true story, written by a Catholic priest who was sent to the Dachau concentration camp and never even found out why. This is a great account of the true happenings at this terrible institution.

This book is superb. As someone who is interested in running it obviously intrigued me. However, there is SO much more to it about the human spirit, how the human body works best, and what the purpose of our bodies is. There is a wonderful story of friendship as well!

Many Catholics (Christians) would find this book a refreshing read. The author writes in a style that is easy to read and he inspires his readers to think about their own life, specifically their own habits. His whole premise is that Christ called us "to be the best version of ourselves" and every decision and action should be one promoting us toward this.

A great book that every woman should read...and tell her husband/boyfriend about. It might seem counter to what "pop culture" tells us is good about being a woman but it definitely rings true with what your heart feels about being a woman.

I just finished this one- the first 50 pages didn't strike me well but I got into it and then couldn't put it down. It is a great historic fiction written from the viewpoint of "Death" (not devil) during WWI. It is set in Nazi Germany and the main character is a young German girl you loves WORDS.

The perspective is a little different from your typical novel and it works!

FINISHED! It was fantastic- hard to put down. It reads more like a story/narrative than most books of this genre do. I highly recommend this book!

This book is very thought-provoking. It provides a different look at God and the Trinity. It definitely has some excellent points and parts however there are some small theological falsehoods. I recommend it though!

This is about a Japanese internment camp in Colorado during the Second World War. Extremely interesting story told about our country's history.
