I looked through it, and thought she actually gave some good advice. There is a section where she gives advice via people's skin tones, and I thought she nailed it there. She gave some good examples of famous people with those skin tones so you can get a good idea of which one you are. Usually, I think magazines tend to skimp on that... they go by eye color or hair color, and that's just too hard. Not all blondes have blue eyes and not all brown eyed people have brown hair or darker skin. I liked what I saw in this one. Flip through it next time you're in B&N and let me know what you think.
I haven't tried her make-up because I feel like it's always sold out at Target when I go, which is a good sign. :)

The Lace Reader actually doesn't have the best review on here (goodreads), and the person who recommended it to me at first, didn't actually finish it. So, I'm hearing that alot (that the book is not what people expected). I think the reason I loved it was not so much the story, which definitely got confusing at parts and never totally unravelled at the end, but because it was talking so much about Salem, which I had just visited and LOVED. :)
Will definitely have to read The Heretic's Daughter, just needed a little break from the Witch Trial stuff.

I'm SO behind! I didn't end up reading it on my trip home because I had started The Lace Reader and was engrossed in that. I have to read Say You're One of Them by December 3rd, so The Help will have to wait until I am done with that and Night. I can't wait, seriously... I am really looking forward to reading this, but I will just be a little behind.
