I think my favorite character was Oskar. I thought he was hilarious. It feels weird using the word hilarious since the book is so sad and Oscar is going through so much pain, but his perspective is so fresh and I love his imagination. I felt sorry for him though because he seemed o be alone so much of the time. It really bothered me that his mom didn't seem to care as he ran all over New York City ... even though she was calling all the people he was going to visit, any number of things could have happened to him on the way. Her character confused me actually because throughout the book she seemed so distant and then at the end she seemed much more warm and loving. My biggest pet peeve is when people don't say "excuse me" I can't stand it when people just shove by me like they're so much more important than I am... it drives me nuts. And yes I crazy dance all the time ... frequently in my car at stop lights and such (so I guess that doesn't count as no one looking lol) ]]>
