Check my review of Chosen and you pretty much know how I felt about this one, too. But it was a quick, easy read with a decent storyline. The series could have been two books, max...but she stretched it out. I don't blame her. Great premise and story, but writing was a bit insulting and heavy-handed. Even teens are smart enough to figure some things out on their own. And P.C.'s daughter's attempt to make it read "more hip," has just the opposite effect. P.C. Cast doesn't need her daughter.
