The saga is finished. It is a nice and intellectual experience to read a story of Lawrence and the Great Arab Revolution introduced by Lawrence himself. But - unfortunately - the net result for the book is disappointed. The Great Arab Revolution is no more Bedouin revolt planned and managed by The British Intelligence for the Allays war efforts. After finishing this work, I was amazing. As usual, Dan Brown had built a very complicated, massive and intellectual plot, with magnificent structure and live characters. But this novel loses this waterfall of historical facts about art, religions and cults which is a common attribute in Robert Langdon's Series.
The most thrilling point in all the novel is the weakest point in the novel. I mean this confrontation between Peter Salomon and Mala'akh. Nobody could think a father can not knows his only son, even if this son was absent for many years.
The last pages are the worst pages in all the book. These long speeches about the word and the unification of all religions are very silly. I think Dan Brown attempts in these pages to make a deal or apologize with the church and the conservative readers. After introduce his lead character - Robert Langdon - and also himself as agnostic and may be pagan.
Personally, I had liked the original title for the novel as "Salomon's Key" as Brown named it since three years. It is mysterious more than the current title "The lost symbol" which is not innovative and very traditional.
