I really enjoyed this book. Lots of fascinating studies about why we're bad at predicting how we'll feel about future events. And at the end, some very simple advice on how to improve those predictions. Lots of conversation fodder, too! ]]>

Very disappointing. It features mainly chopped versions of poems - not entire pieces - and includes many for no reason I could see. I'm not quite sure who would like this book... ]]>
So much fun! The book is quite clever and I loved the premise of it. ]]>
This is a book I'd like to give to friends. Among my friends, we do try awfully hard to be good. And I really like Nick Hornby's exploration of being good in this book. I always enjoy the tongue-in-cheek parody style of writing, and this one is sharp and thought-provoking. ]]>
