A wonderful book, though I was a bit worried towards the middle when the main character made a few really dumb decisions. Grossman pulled the book together by the end. One of the better urban fantasy novels I've read that weren't from an author I alr ...more

Finally got around to finish this collection of Harry Dresden shorts. Great stuff, and I was surprised how good the earliest Dresden story was.

Now I have to wait til the end of July for "Ghost Story".

Love me some Dan Simmons, despite the open ending of Olympos. I haven't gotten around to reading his last few horror novels yet, but picked up Drood based on a good recommendation and too good to pass up price.

Really enjoyed it, I'm a sucker of alter

Now I have to wait for Gaiman t

Finally starting to catch up on the older Tim Powers book. Fun stuff as usual, the true mystical events behind the Turkish siege of Vienna, a middle aged Irish mercenary, and 900 year aged beer.

I'm going to be very depressed when I catch up with all

A fun read and chock full of details. I wasn't taken with it as much as "The Late Shift", mainly because I was a huge Letterman fan at the time and now I just don't have the time. But it was interesting to see how the landscape has changed and how bi ...more
