As an adoptee, this book was a life changer. Devastating stories beautifully told. We cannot allow our society to return to a place where this is accaptable and encouraged.

This book read like a Tim Burton movie. It was very visual and magical and filled with off-beat characters who functioned perfectly within the confines of their own world.
