Stephen wrote that the Dark Tower is more of a cross of "The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly" and "Lord of the Ring". WIll let you know how it goes. Also, this edition im reading now is an expanded and revised edition where he cleaned up all the excessive "word" and to clarify the connection with the last volumn of Dark Tower.
