This book is eerily accurate. A lot of what I have read in this book has occurred already. I hope that this thing doesn't go nuclear, but it looks as though that is a possibility. Akmajenajad (sp) has already committed to the destruction of the "little satan" (Israel) and has threatened to move to the "great satan" when done with Israel. First strike is the only option.

It is amazing how the Amish in Nickle Mines PA moved on from the tragedy of losing five girls in the shooting. What is more amazing is the grace that was shown toward the shooter's family immediately after the shooting. They said that they were not the only ones to suffer a loss; the shooter's family was also suffering their own loss. The support that they gave this family was amazing considering that the shooter took five of their own.
This book is a reflection of how one can transcend a loss by the simple act of forgiveness. However, this is not to be confused with "pardoning" those who cause us harm. To forgive is to let go emotionally of the grudge that is often held after a tragedy. The Amish in Nickle Mines and all over the country let go of the grudge so that they could be at peace.
This is a great book.

This book offers red flags and precautions for those employed at correctional facilities. The book reports how inmates start with something as small as asking you for the time and then you are bringing in drugs for them because they "hold" something over you. In a world where, unfortunately, unethical people will be employed, this book offers insite in to how to shut the con games down immediately and the signs that an inmate may be playing you or your co-worker. A must read for those in the correctional field.
