I'm not done reading this book but I thought that I should write something about it.
Now, when I first picked up this book from the bookstore, I didn't think that it would be a GREAT BOOK to read!! I mean as long as it has that magical word "BEST SELLER" on it's cover. But this book is not just like all the best sellers, it's really MAGICAL!!!
I only read a few pages and I really can't stop thinking about myself. Each time I finish a few pages of it, I discover lots of things about "ME." Things I wasn't aware of like to be totally governed by the ego.
My motto in life is "To Be Myself" and to keep on improving for the better but because of the ego I wasn't actually improving, I was in the process of losing myself!
I identify myself with my thoughts even while reading this book my sense of self has not changed but the only difference is that I'm aware of that mistake. And as Tolle says awareness of your ego is the first step towards awakening to your life's purpose. So I'm still in the process of awakening :)
I'll add quotations once I finish it. I'm on Chapter 4 (my reading is so slow but it's better so that I can observe my thoughts)
I recommend this book for anyone who wants to be AWAKENED. And trust me it's not like all the other self-improvement books you have read before
