276352 Julie says she likes dystopian literature. Thank you Julie, for the word dystopian! This gives me the title for my next book: Our Amazing Dystopian Universe. I'm giving it this title, Julie, because this universe that we're really in is the very antithesis of the universe we THINK we are in.

205220 I'm with Doria on this one--are you out of your flippin' mind? Howard Roark was a pompous insensitive ass. Who cares if he was brilliant. I loathed him and Ayn Rand's entire self-centered world.

230770 That book is written with the breathless, overblown prose of a romance novel...complete with the requisite rape scene. If everyone were like Roark, the world would be even more unpleasant than it already is!

230747 Why are you such a knee-jerk liberal? That book, although, yes, black-and-white, and written by someone who was possibly bonkers, is inspirational and a model to keep me striving for my best.

230770 How can you like The Fountainhead?!? Say it isn't so!
