A warlock falls in love with a mortal. When I read the blurb about this book I thought witches, warlocks and magic, sounds interesting. I was disappointed. I love the ending with what happens to the creep who stalks the main character. But about all I can say to recommended this book it has a lot of hot sex scenes.

The novel was a behind the scenes story of a show called "Wake Up America". A T.V. exec was murdered and what seemed like a simple case became very complicated. The author did a fine job with character detail, and the murder mystery aspect but in a few places the scenes were dry and drawn out, which made the story a little long winded.

The story was written as if Mary was writing her memoirs. It told about her young life in a well to-do family, falling in love with a penniless attorney. Her marriage, birth of her sons and their deaths, being First Lady, the war, the assignation of President Lincoln, and finally the betrayal of her only surviving son, who had her committed to a insane asylum. Looking at her life as a outsider, I could see perfectly clear, why she was the way she was. The struggles she had being a lady people expected in those times, her grief over her sons and husbands death, and her drug addiction. She fought to be declared sane, so she could leave the home and live her life in peace, which she did for the last few years of her life, dying at 63. The author did a magnificent job portraying Mary Todd Lincoln as intelligent and unconventional. As the quote from USA Today says "You feel a compulsion to urge others to read it", I also encourage others to read it.

An Attorney, George Young, is asked a favor by an old friend. Mrs. Collins is dying and wants to know what her son was so occupied with when he was hit by a truck. I felt this was a bare-bones novel with sketchy character details. Basicly a good read but at the end you are left with unanswered questions. The story had a feel of nostalgia like "Draget" with Joe Friday narrating, "Just the facts ma'am"

The earth's crust shifts causing repositioning of the continents, Large scale flooding, extreme cold and heat. Antarctica thaws and becomes a lush paradise. Teams from different countries race to the center to claim their 1/3 of this tropical wonder, not knowing of the ancient danger residing within. A detailed storyline, and unexpected twists makes this novel pure Jeremy Robinson. A Quote by Stel Pavlou about this book says it all: "An awesome journey into the beating heart of a legend"

This novel is a modern twist of Pride and Prejudice. Elizabeth is a busy Attorney who comes face to face with a bored, stuffy Judge Darcy. From then on sparks fly. I love how the author put the characters from Pride and Prejudice with almost the same characteristics into this story. My favorite lines from the story: Referring to his name plate Hon. F. Darcy, "what does the F.stand for?" she asked. "What do you think it stands for?" he countered. "Do you really have any doubt what I think it stands for?" she said, smirking. "Contrary to popular belief, my mother did not name me F**ker. It's Fitzwilliam."
Here's a link to Sara Angelini's website and e-mail:
http://www.judgedarcy.com/
