Interesting premise so far. Whilst it reads like a Manga, it also reads like a good war novel as well as reading like a really cool Cyberpunk novel which makes this book really refreshing, considering how lame, dullard and nerdy the American cyberpunk genre has become.
A modern hi-tech soldier fights a battle against a mysterious 'alien' foe called mimics, and finds that he comes back to life every time he dies. He starts to think that maybe his 'death' is actually just a nightmare that he keeps waking up from.
This is great, creative pulp the way it should be. Full of crazy ideas, strange environments and mind-bending philosophy.
Dig it!
