I thought I would give Bret Easton Ellis a chance a I remember really enjoying the film adaptation of American Psycho, but I gotta say I was a little dissapointed by this book. Bored, overprivileged, disenchanted youth blah blah blah, I get it. I did somewhat like the mood and ambience the author created, but thought that the book tried too hard to be shocking and overall really didn't have that much to say. Certainly not "Catcher in the Rye for the MTV Generation." as one reviewer put it. ]]>
