Well, I didn't finish my my goal which was by the end of September. It's just such a long story, so detailed. You really get into the lives of everyone on Frasers Ridge, and River Run. So many different stories that are woven into the big picture. As much as I'd love to jump right into the next book, I need a break with some lighter, quicker reads. I really want to know what Brianna and Roger do with that last bit of information they were sent at the very end of the book. I think I already know the answer. The most riveting part of the book for me was when Claire was with Hodgepile-oh so graphic, and on the morning after the most brutal treatment the sound of the drum, getting closer, I just got goosebumps, and still do when discussing this part with friends. another goosebump moment was when Brianna and Roger saw Sir William Ellersmee, the chills when describing what he looked like and what Brianna and roger were thinking. I hope that part gets more attention in the next book, or at least before the end of the saga. Man, I could go on and on, but I'll stop here. ]]>
