Another new look at the Arthur story, this series is another one different from others. This book is way before Arthur is born - the main character is his great-uncle, I think. Compelling characters and an interesting plot. A few pages of completely superfluous sex scenes make it so I can't recommend it to everybody (unless they ask me what pages to skip), but a good read anyway. ]]>

A fun, quick read (I read it in Barnes and Noble) about 3 girls and their experiences with zombies and saving the world. Fun art, totally ridiculous plot and quirky in everything, make this worth a read. ]]>

Another of my favorite books. Along with a few of my other favorites, this book has an interesting story mixed heavily with interesting, thought-provoking conversations and events. I often feel as if Russell listened in on a couple of my conversations with Andrea and copied them. Just as good on the second read. ]]>

Somehow this book manages to be hilariously random and nonsensical, while commenting on important matters. I found out about half way through that it was originally a webcomic (goats.com), which made sense with it being so random. In any case, basic art and a funny story with an unimportant plot. A wonderful read as long as you know what you're getting into. ]]>

Excellent read. A well thought out plot (if a bit predictable in some parts) and excellent characters. Not nearly as scary as Coraline, but is still a very dark read, especially for a children's book. Gaiman has still not written anything that I did not like. ]]>
