I love this forum. I have also worked all my life as document control analyst and I have been reviewing documents for accuracy and compliance, and unfortunately I used to judge some writings on their poor English as well.
However I should have realized that mistakes happen and the quality of any written work can still be good enough to read. For example when I published my book "The Little Black Fish", there were some typing errors and a few other mistakes. In my opinion the autocorrect feature on Word has a role creating these problems. I am hoping to be able to have a revised copy published.

Hi, Jongalt.
You have raised a question that is in so many people's minds. George Orwell must have been a true communist since he participated at the Spanish Civil War, their last stance and where they were put to test.
Could it be that here as well as in "1984" he saw the danger and was criticising the path the Soviet Union was leading to. A path that, four decades later led to their destruction. How and why this happened would definitely need a lot of research.
