Yet while people often think I am a big reader, the truth is that I've read very few books in my life thus far.

I think this is 'cause (in general) picking up a book at any point in life is a really big investment for me, as I have this obsessive need to make sure I have the space & time to give it an attentive reading.

So I can definitely say that I've done more book shopping than reading.

And now, I have decided to stop being perfectionist and to pick up the pace 'cause life is short! And I can surely read books very (though not as) fully in less time.

PS Especially in search of some good Asian-American fiction and also some good science writing since having no more science classes left to take for the rest of my life.
