For a new author I found this book really good. It had a good balance of world building and getting on with the story.
Jane is a really likable character who has been dealt some really crappy hands, but manages to deal with them while not letting the whole situation change her.
I really like her job and the people she works with. They seem like great goofy people and I wish I could work there. I also liked how as Jane learned more about herself she learned more about the town and how the people who were always nice to her had their own little secrets, and now that she knows she is let into the club.
Her romance with Ryu is exactly what she needs at this point in her life to get out of her shell and introduce her to her other life. I loved how she described herself as 2 people it was true and she seems to be working on making the two into one.

This is her first book, so that is why you haven't heard of this author, LOL. So far I find the book to be a fun easy read. The conversations are snarky and fun, the main character Jane has really funny inner conversations with herself, and the "townspeople" are quirky. I would recommend reading this one. ]]>
