We are discussing this book at church. Again, Marcus Borg gives a new, enlightening perspective on some very old (and sometimes damaging) ideas. He focuses his attention on several misrepresentations of the apostle Paul. ]]>
I was fascinated by a recent Frontline document called "From Jesus to Christ" (I think). This book is an excellent companion to it. Borg has studied Jesus all his life, and for a time was agnostic. He has "rediscovered" his Christianity, and explains how that's possible even if you don't take the bible literally. ]]>

It didn't make sense in the movie b/c she's so nice, friendly, quirky - typical Amy Adams. Not much use of the "f" word. ]]>
