I loved it.

And I have read other reviews by Goodreads users and have this to say to the naysayers: Of course it's different than the other books. Robert Jordan is gone, and we are only so lucky that Brandon Sanderson did such a marvelous job of picking up and finishing it. (Thank you, Brandon.)

He has a different writing style (which I love, and recommend his Mistborn series highly for). He always said he didn't want to attempt to mimic Robert Jordan. I think this was wise. He gave us the best of what *he* had to offer in the interpretation of the events of A Memory of Light. And putting aside that we would have all loved nothing more than for Robert Jordan to be here to finish his beloved series himself: RJ *wanted* someone to finish it. This was his wish. And that meant (necessarily) that the conclusion of the epic would feel a bit different than its beginning. It makes this ending, *a* beginning (of sorts). ;)

I particularly have a hard time with those who complain that Matt is funnier under Sanderson's pen.

I have a solution to this problem: Laugh. It was important enough a lesson that Rand needed to learn it too. And you don't even have the weight of Tarmon Gai'don on your shoulders.
