Cracked up to be is a sad reminder of how truly messed up the life of a teenager can be. It's a painful look at the life of one very confused and out of control eighteen year old girl named Parker Fadley. The simple version of Parker's story is that she took a fall from perfection after her best friend turns of missing, Parker suspects dead. Parker's problems aren't so much because her best friend is gone, but because she feels it's all her fault.

It's definitely not a happy go lucky story, but a great book still. This book is Flat-Out Hot! Wow, once I started reading I could hardly make myself put the book down. "Flat-Out Sexy" is the first book in McCarthy's Fast Track series about Nascar drivers and their romances. I have previously read "Hard And Fast" which is the second book in the series, and although there was no problem understanding the books read out of order it was nice to go back and read the book that kicked on the series and get to know the characters a bit better.

"Flat-Out Sexy" is witty, spunky, filled with hot athletes, and the book itself is just flat-out sexy, pun intended! I can some this book up in one phrase - OMG! Hard and Fast is soooo good, unless of course you don't like hot, manly men who can actually admit to their feelings and are willing to fall in love. Oh yeah, and if you don't like steamy, passionate love scenes then you should probably skip this book. But if you like those things you should read Hard and Fast immediately.

I often say this in my positive reviews, but I still have to say it about this book. I loved the characters. Imogen - pronounced "I Mo Gin" and Ty have amazing chemistry, but are at the same time very different. Their differences make them a bit skeptical that their attraction and what they think is love really is love, but at the same time, their chemistry keeps them from being able to doubt their true feelings.

The story was pretty straight forward, you never felt like there were unnecessary parts, or bits and pieces lacking. It was a quick and fun read.
