Memorable characters, violence, and friendship. These three elements are why I enjoyed Of Mice And Men. The characters were truly relatable and you get into their world. Secondly, I liked reading about all the gore and blood in this book. Lastly, I related to the theme of friendship in the book.

To Begin with, I like Of Mice And Men because of the characters. As I read this book I felt the characters emotions. The reader accepts their differences, and understands what they’re going through. For example, everyone reading this book would root for Lennie, even though he’s mentally disabled. After hearing about Lennie And George’s plan, who wouldn’t want them to succeed?

Next, I enjoyed the blood gushing, bone crushing violence in this story. Like when Lennie fights Curley. Throughout the book, Curley tries to start an argument with Lennie. He really gets what is coming to him. Lennie ended up breaking Curley’s hand.

Finally, I enjoyed this book because of the theme of friendship. This book shows how every human needs some sort of companionship. Just like George and Lennie, friends are we need friends to keep us going when we’re down. Like the book proves, everyone needs a good friend.

In conclusion, I liked this book for several reasons. Firstly, I connected with the characters. Of Mice And Men also has violence, that I enjoyed. Last but not least, I liked the theme of friendship. I liked this book, and I know you will too.

You learn so much from reading books. Banning books is wrong because it limits the information people can gain from reading. For example, many books deal with gritty topics, but these issues are relevant in today’s world. For example, “The Drowning of Stephan Jones” deals with homosexuality. Additionally “Are You There God, It’s Me Margret” discusses religion. Lastly, “Huckleberry Finn” contains offensive language.
One major reason books are banned is because they contain homosexuality, such as “The Drowning Of Stephan Jones”. In our day and age, a book shouldn’t be banned because it contains homosexuality. This topic has been in the press recently when Miss California was asked about her beliefs on gay marriage. She responded by saying marriage should be between a man and a woman. A media frenzy followed. Also, several states such as Iowa have allowed same sex marriage. This proves that many Americans are becoming more tolerant towards homosexuality.

“Are You There God, It’s Me Margret” was banned because the main character was questioning religion and didn’t practice any faith. However, that does not justify the book being banned. This is because many Americans are expressing the same sentiments. According to an article in Newsweek titled “The End Of Christian America”,The number of people willing to describe themselves as atheist or agnostic has increased from 1 million in 1990 to 3.6 million in 2009.

In real life, you’re bound to hear at least a few curses a day. Shouldn’t books portray real life? Many school districts and cities decided to ban “Huckleberry Finn” because of its use of foul language. One word in particular, was the n-word. Huck Finn would definitely loose some historical context if this word wasn’t included. During the 1800’s, African Americans were referred to by that term. We cant change the future if we don’t know our past, and learning about that time period can play a huge part in preventing it from ever happening again.

In conclusion, books should not be banned. Books are there for people to help readers learn and grow. One cant do this if they don’t have access to these books. Many books banned deal with today’s controversial topics. First, “The Drowning of Stephan Jones” was about a gay man’s murder. Next, questioning God is discussed “Are You There God, It’s Me Margret” discusses religion. Finally, “Huckleberry Finn” contains offensive language.

The “Confessions of Georgia Nicolson” series by Louise Rennison is one of my favorite book series of all time. I really enjoy this book because of it’s humor. “Angus, Thongs, and Full Frontal Snogging” really relates to me. Lastly, I love this book because of the main character, Georgia Nicolson.
This series by Louise Rennison is my favorite because of it’s humor, or as Georgia and her gang would say, full of “hilariousity”. These books are funny because of the language. Georgia and her friends truly have their own language. You cant read these books with anyone else around, because you’ll start cracking up and get funny looks. Reading this series, You truly laugh until you cry a when reading this.
My favorite series is “Confessions of Georgia Nicolson” because these books are truly relatable to me. Who hasn’t been embarrassed by their parents? Another reason its relable to me is the setting. The story takes place in England, where my mom is from. Georgia and her friends are also around my age.
Finally, this is my favorite series ever because of the main character, Georgia Nicholson. This fake girl is so believable. Everything about this character is so real, she really exposes herself. Rennison allows you to get into her world and feel everything she’s feeling. Like when she goes to party dressed as a stuffed olive, and suddenly realizes this wasn’t going to earn her popularity points.
The “ Confessions of Georgia Nicolson” series is my all time favorites for several reasons. First of all, this book has exactly my type of humor. Next, the series really relates to me. Lastly, the main character Georgia is so real.Read it, I'm sure it will be one of your favorites too.
First off, this book has a really good plot. Next, this book keeps you on your toes with all the suspense. The last reason this is the perfect mystery book is that it all connects.
To begin with, this book has a perfect plot. The plot makes sense and you can follow it easily, even when the story gets complicated. In this story, a girl is kidnapped and her wealthy family has to pay a ransom money. You think everything is cool, until she arrives home. Her family thinks she thought up the kidnapping to get money This story gives a whole other meaning to the term “the plot thickens”.
Secondly, this book contains an amazing amount of suspense. It keeps you on your toes during the entire book. While reading it, the reader constantly wonders what would happen next. You simply have to find out what happens next! Kids can be cruel, especially pre adolescent middle school girls. “Blubber” by Judy Blume is a book about a girl being bullied by girls in her class. It is one of my favorite books for several reasons. To begin with, I really enjoy books written by Judy Blume. This book also helped me get through tough times. “ Blubber” has well developed characters and you experience what they are feeling.

“Blubber” is one of my all time favorites because Judy Blume is one of my favorite authors. Like all of her other books , this one has many of the qualities I admire Blume for. All of her books, including Blubber is very relatable. She has an amazing ability to capture what growing up is like
. If I had to give it a rough estimate, I think I’ve read almost all of her books. They include “Deenie”, “Tiger Eyes, and “Are You There God? It’s Me, Margaret”

This book is a favorite of mine because it has well developed characters and you experience their feelings. All of the characters including Jill and Wendy, are realistic. Obviously, they have flaws, because they are both mentally and physically abusing their classmate. These characters seem like they can exist outside of their pages. I was almost moved to tears when Jill wasn’t allowed a “lawyer” at her “trial".

Judy Blume’s “Blubber” , is one of my favorites because it helped me get through some difficult time. In middle school , I was teased a bullied by a group of girls in my class. I realized after reading this, that I was not the only one experiencing bullying. Reading this book helped comfort me in that way. It reminded me a lot of myself when the other girls came up with the name “Blubber” for the main character Linda , while she’s giving a presentation on whales.

In conclusion, “Blubber” is one of my favorite books. This story is written by a favorite author of mine, Judy Blume. Characters in this story are well-developed and realistic. Even though these characters aren’t real, they have real meaning to me because it helped me cope with being teased in middle school.
