I haven't read anything by Beverly Lewis in years, so this was my first venture back into this genre of fiction. The story was alright, but I didn't love it.

Christian fiction needs to make me think about spiritual things and challenge me in my walk with the Lord. This book misses that element entirely. There was no spiritual challenge, and that was disappointing.

As far as the storytelling goes, it kept my interest. I enjoy a mystery, and this one keeps you hanging on until the end of the book to discover what the secret is. Even though I only gave it 3 stars, I would read the next in the series to find out what happens next.
