I giggled my way through this novel, one I found very well written and as neatly storylined as Anansi himself would weave a tale. The characters were endearing and well written and the sense of fun in the whole book was not lost for a second. I had no idea of what to expect from this novel as I didn't even check what the story was going to be about which was not such a leap of faith as it sounds seeing as I read quite a few books by Mr Gaimen already! It wasn't a bad book by any means, the characters interesting and the setting well described and atmospheric. Being one of her earlier books though it lacked a certain something for me, but was well worth reading none the less.
