I do now want us reading one book this time. No no. Our time is too precious to be strapped to a book we might not thoroughly enjoy. Not to say that this group won't challenge us to reach outside our box -- it will! But not through one book.
Rather, each month I will provide a list of four books (I welcome suggestions!) that we can choose from. Read one, read all four, or read none! because if they don't appeal to you, I'd rather you delve into what you love, and bring it with you to share! That way, we are all learning about different book genres, authors and more.
I hope this lax and free style does not scare you off. While we might not delve into the nitty gritty themes and symbols of one book, I anticipate learning a lot from you about your books, the books I choose and about reading and book choice in general.
I look forward to *finally* meeting you all.
Please let me know ASAP if the date does not work for you, as we might be able to adjust it!
