Julie, I loved this book! The stories of Skeeter and all the maids stayed with me for a long time after I finished this.

The author grew up in Jackson, Mississippi and moved to New York after finishing school. Stockett's brief history on GoodReads is very similar to the story of Skeeter...makes me wonder if this is her story??

Anyway, I can't wait to read your review. :)
